Microsoft fixes root cause of worldwide outage and Microsoft 365 Apps remain affected
Microsoft Outage Live Updates: Following a recent Crowdstrike upgrade, a significant outage has left Windows users worldwide in the “recovery” stage. Airports, businesses, and government offices worldwide may have been impacted by the outage, according to reports.
In a recent support page, Crowdstrike has also acknowledged the issue and stated that Falcon n sensor issues are the cause of the Windows crashes that have been occurring recently. It said, “CrowdStrike is aware of reports of crashes connected to the Falcon Sensor that have occurred on Windows hosts.
“Among the symptoms are hosts reporting a Falcon Sensor-related bugcheck\blue screen error. There is no need to submit a support case since our engineering teams are currently working to remedy this issue,” the business stated.

Early in the Wall Street session, CrowdStrike’s shares fell 20%
Microsoft stated that Azure services were being restored “as quickly as possible” and that it was “aware of an issue affecting Windows devices due to an update from a third-party software platform.”
A number of industries were impacted by the disruptions, including stock exchange operators, insurance, and airlines. Microsoft’s stock dropped 2.9%, and CrowdStrike’s plunged 20%.
Hyderabad airport issues advisory, 23 flights cancelled
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad has issued an advisory regarding a global IT outage impacting some airlines, reported PTI. This led to the cancellation of 23 flights, including Indigo’s routes to Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. Passengers are advised to contact airlines for updates.
National Informatics Centre (NIC) network remains unaffected
Union IT Minister Aswini Vaishnaw confirmed that the National Informatics Centre (NIC) network remains unaffected. Users are also encouraged to check the CrowdStrike portal for the latest updates and further instructions.
